Results: Friday Night Doubles and Sunday Morning Bag Tag Challenge

In addition to the Friday night doubles at 5:30, there is an informal gathering of players at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.  We play singles and compete for bag tags. Jeff Burns had a great round of 7 under par this morning and captured bag tag number 1. Finishing second and capturing bag tag #4 was Marty Coplea while third place was won by Chad LaPointe.

The most noteworthy outcome this morning (for me) is that I had a better score than Chad S, a very good player who is WAY WAY better than I am.  So for one week, I get to tease him about having a higher bag tag number than what I have. Check out the attached picture showing from left to right Marty Coplea, Jeff Burns, and holding bag tag #21, Chad S.  Come join the fun (and occasional teasing – sorry Chad) at  8 a.m., Sundays on hole #1.

As for Friday Doubles this week, first place went to Andy Puerno and Marty Coplea at 9 under par.  Second place finishers were Bill McDonough and Chad LaPointe, while in third place were Barry Solomon and me (Barry carried me).
